Day three, the famous “water day”, is a highlight of the trip. Our students spend their morning hiking to waterfalls and kayaking Lake Arenal then spend their afternoon exploring the town of La Fortuna (or visiting a pineapple plantation if they opt in) and the Baldi Hot Springs. All this water makes for some tough choices regarding electronics, but most of our students managed to capture great pictures from the day and some even opted to leave their phones behind. *gasp*
The Baldi Hot Springs will be a much appreciated respite after our busy morning and we are certain to bring some very tired travelers home after dinner. Anticipating this upcoming fatigue, here is a collection of images from the last 24 hours. Most of this pictures are from today, but any pictures from the coffee plantation are leftovers from yesterday I couldn’t resist including.
The kids have been AMAZING young travelers and I could not be more appreciative of Ms. Cuffee and our chaperones for their efforts. Enjoy the pictures!
